In his speech, Muhammed Abbadi, Secretary-General of the Justice and Spirituality Movement, highlighted a number of points in Imam Yassine’s journey. He said, “A year has now elapsed since we paid the last honors to Imam Yassine –God have mercy on him- ; funeral Morocco has never witnessed the like of before. Who is the deceased? I simply say he is ‘a servant of God’
This companionship has yielded a great heart and a mind guided by the Light of God the Almighty which in turn has produced a tremendous legacy of almost 40 books, all of which are marked with various milestones of renewal. ..
It is a great honor and privilege for us today to commemorate his legacy. The Imam raised us to seek God’s Countenance; a request which wouldn’t be easy for us to attain without the help of a Knower of God.
He related our hearts with a bond of godly love which totally has metamorphosed our characters. He raised us to uplift our umma and be in the aid of all people and not only the members of the Movement so that the umma may regain its power and dignity.”
